Jacob Alexander Simon is an actor and musician from the Chicago suburbs—Deerfield, IL to be exact!

He discovered his love for performing at age 5, when he played the Magic Mirror in a children's theatre production of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves."

Well actually, it was called "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and Ryann" (don't ask who Ryann is—no one really knows), and it featured musical numbers from the 70's. After bringing the house down with his rendition of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain," reimagined as the Magic Mirror's 11 O'clock Number where he finally claps back at the Evil Queen, Jacob knew he had found his calling.

Jacob made his Off-Broadway debut originating the role of Bassanio in the world premiere musical PENELOPE, OR HOW THE ODYSSEY WAS REALLY WRITTEN at The York Theatre Company. Be on the lookout for an Original Cast Album, which will be released later this year!

After PENELOPE, Jacob starred as Sammy Rosenthal in another new musical: SURVIVING THE ROSENTHALS, which had a sold out run at the New York Theatre Festival, before being cast in North American Tour of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF!

Aside from theatre, Jacob enjoys writing music, doing impromptu photoshoots with his boyfriend Graham (all of the photos on this website were taken by him!), reading Game of Thrones, and thrifting for vintage clothes.
